BNSF8221 (ES44C4) - UP8515 (SD70ACe) - UP7035 (C44ACM)

Is this a Union Pacific train that just happens to have a BNSF engine on the point, or is it a Burlington Northern Santa Fe train using trackage rights on UP's tracks? The next photo may hold the answer.

End of Train Device - TILX 306136

The BNSF End of Train Device strongly suggests that this is a BNSF train using trackage rights, which would make the two UP engines foreign power in their home territory; speaking in terms of their relationship to the train. (If you haven't yet, please see the previous photo.)

CP7016 (SD70ACu)

A Canadian Pacific heritage unit wearing the maroon and grey with block lettering paint scheme. This engine used to be an SD9043MAC in a former life.
